Testimonials

"I didn't think anyone else could possibly know or understand what I was going through. I also didn't think anyone could be so compassionate and patient with me as A.J. Mahari was as my life coach. She gave me support, information, and tools. Tools that have enabled me to truly find myself and to set and achieve my goals. Thanks so much for everything A.J.! -- Mandy"

"If you want to know more about Borderline Personality Disorder, as a borderline, or non borderline, I totally recommend that you buy A.J. Mahari's 3 Core Wound of Abandonment Ebooks. I have searched all over the web, read everything I could, including lots of other books and nothing was even close to as helpful to me as A.J.'s insightful explanation of abandonment in BPD. Finally, I understand.Thank you A.J. for the incredible gift of the insight you share that you learned through your own life experience."

-- Katy Gilchrist, Alberta, Canada

"I bought A.J. Mahari's ebook, on Loneliness. Wow! So much insightful and informative stuff. I had not ever really thought about there being anything positive about loneliness. You taught me so much. I have been able to make some wonderful changes in my life because your ebook helped me to learn that the place to start was with my attitude toward and thoughts about loneliness. Thanks so much A.J. and may God continue to bless all the work that you do."

About A.J. Mahari

A.J. MahariLet me introduce myself to those of you who may not know me from my other Websites and the numerous (free) articles, blogs, podcasts, and videos I have made available online for over 14 years now.

My name is A.J. Mahari. I am a 52 year old woman, professional writer, Life Coach, BPD/Mental Health Coach. I have written primarily and specifically about Borderline Personality Disorder (from which I have recovered 14 years ago), Asperger's Syndrome (from the adult perspective), as well as Mental Health Issues among other things. I will have Ebooks and Audio Programs, along with video, on a wider-range of topics of interest to those who are in various stages of identifying and coming to terms with much-needed change very soon.

So much of the journey of life, as does the life coaching process, involves getting to know yourself better. More specifically, getting to know much more about who you really are - who your authentic self is. It is the authentic self in each and every one of us that I believe is a phoenix rising.

I am a Phoenix Rising, an ever-unfolding work in progress, a wayfarer on the road less traveled. I am a student of life. I am a seeker of all that can bring forward a continued and deeper awareness that can enhance the over-all quality of my experience of every evolving and maturing here-and-now moment in the full mindfulness of radical acceptance of all that is.

Learning to mindfully and radically accept what is provides the Phoenix Rising in each of us with the repeated and universally-timed opportunity of evolution that challenges each of us to throw his/her known self into the fire of examination. A fire that allows us to learn, make progress in any recovery we need, and to grow. We then rise out of the ashes of one fire of self at a time to come to understand aspects of our lives that were previously unavailable to our conscious minds because we were too restricted by our protective false selves to acquire this much sought after and longed for insightful awareness. This profoundly important awareness gifts us with new appreciation and understanding. In turn, then, from the ashes of these fires of self, each Phoenix Rising unearths the space to implement new ways of thinking, feeling, and acting in the world.

Please join me on this most sacred journey won't you? Read one of my ebooks, listen to one of my audio programs, partake of a self help course, watch a video, or avail yourself of my life coaching services - all of which are designed to aid you on your un-folding journey. This is a journey that is simultaneously universally shared and very individual and personal. It is from this central premise that my ebooks speak to the many layers and intricate nature of self-revelation, self-actualization, and recovery.

No matter what your life circumstance. No matter what your diagnosis or life challenge I hope you will find something I've made available here that will augment your journey with a renewed sense of promise, purpose, passion, and peace.

Quotes From A.J. Mahari

"The central dilemma of the non borderline presents you with a quandary that in and through its predicament reveals a puzzle that you then feel compelled to solve. The what-to-do conundrum is unearthed. Your pain, the pain of loving someone with BPD compels you to want to help and to want to fix the problem to restore a sense of connectedness that continues to be puzzling, painful, and illusive. Where is love in all of this?"

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "The Dilemma on the Other Side of BPD" - Borderline Love?

"What is in the way - is the way. If you have Borderline Personality Disorder it is the fundamental absence of a known self that sits at the very core of your pain, anger, and your rage. It is your rage that stands between your borderline pain and suffering and your recovery. Your lack of a known and defined self is what is in your way."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "Rage And BPD"

"Each one of us is born alone. Born to be the very unique human being that he/she is. Each one of us will die alone. In between, in the natural order of life, there are times when we must be alone due to circumstance or times when we may need to be alone to take care of ourselves and find our own way through troubled and painful seasons. Being alone is not necessarily the reason for feeling the pain of loneliness."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "Loneliness - Its Promise of Transformation"
